Websites & marketingfor fishing lodges & outfitters.

Across Canada and the United States, great camps get talked about all winter in group texts, around the office, and at kitchen tables. We build websites and search presence that turns that word of mouth into customers booking their next getaway.

Why it matters now

How guests find a lodge now

Almost every guest, even a referral, looks a lodge up online before they call.

Nobody has to sell your camp for you. Your guests already do it. They rebook before they leave, then spend the winter telling their buddies about the trip.

And when someone passes your name along, the first thing that person does is pull out their phone. They search the way they think and ask ChatGPT which trip fits their group. The camps with clear pages for exactly those things are the ones that come up.

If what they find shows the water, boats, cabins, fishing, and what a week actually feels like, with the practical details to help them plan, that referral becomes a phone call. Making sure it does is the part we do.

Sell the vibe before you sell the week.

A lodge site should feel like cold air off the lake, the first run out of the bay, and a fish in the net — not a template with a pine tree dropped on top.

Client redesign

Pipestone Lodge

We rebuilt the brand and website for Pipestone Lodge, a fly-in fishing lodge in Northwestern Ontario, so guests could see the trip and book it.

Now a guest can

  • See the lake, boats, cabins, shoreline, and fishing in real photos.
  • Understand what makes the destination worth the trip before they ever call.
  • Plan travel, packing, licences, gear, and what’s included with confidence.
  • Choose the trip that fits their group and inquire with dates and party size.
  • Feel confident the experience fits their group, whether they’re first-timers or seasoned anglers.

Testimonial

“We're absolutely thrilled. The site is easy to use, uncluttered and professional, yet it still captures the feel of the lodge.

Ryan was patient when we changed direction, explained everything in plain terms, and made decisions easy, especially with the live edits near the end. We would absolutely recommend working with him.”

The results

How a better website helps book more trips

Guests can picture themselves there.

Real photography shows the water, boats, cabins, fish, and scale of the experience, so the trip feels real before they arrive.

The destination feels worth the journey.

A clear story, specific details, and proof from past guests show why this lodge is worth choosing without competing on the lowest rate.

The whole trip feels easier to plan.

Travel, directions, licences, gear, what to pack, and what happens on arrival are answered before they become reasons to hesitate.

More serious inquiries become bookings.

Guests understand the experience, know the next step, and reach out with the dates and group details needed to move the trip forward.

Our process

How we work with lodges

A fixed-price project, scheduled around your season and never in the middle of it.

The audit.

We start with what you already have: your current site, your Google listing, and how guests find and reach you now. Then we tell you what’s worth changing and what’s fine as it is.

Strategy & planning.

We agree on what the site has to do: tell the destination story, show the experience in real photography, answer trip-planning questions, and make inquiries easy. Defined scope and price before work begins, timed to your off-season.

Design & build.

The writing, design, and build are our job. Yours is a few conversations, your rates and policies, and your best photos. It won’t become your second job.

Live before the phone rings.

We launch ahead of booking season, make sure inquiries reach you, and keep rates, dates, and photos current as seasons change. All summer, it runs on its own.

FAQ

Common questions

Straight answers about the work, the platforms, and your time. Something else on your mind? Just ask.

Do we need a whole new website, or can ours be fixed?

Not every lodge needs a rebuild. If your current site is fast and already shows the trip well, focused fixes may be enough. We’ll tell you either way after the first look.

What platform do you build lodge websites on?

Usually WordPress. It’s easy for you to update rates and dates yourself, and it does well in search. But we work with all the major platforms, including Wix, Squarespace, and Shopify, and we’ll recommend whatever fits how you actually want to run it.

How much of our time does this take?

A few conversations, your current rates and policies, and your best real photos. We handle the writing, design, and build, and we schedule the work around your season.

Who updates the site during the season?

We do, or you can easily. Rates, dates, and photos are simple to change, and we check in each season so nothing goes stale while you’re busy with guests.

How do search engines and AI tools find a fishing lodge?

They look for clear, trustworthy facts: where you are, what you fish for, when you operate, what your plans include, and real photos and reviews to back it up. A few well-written pages beat dozens of thin ones.

Do you work with hunting camps and outfitters too?

Yes. The seasons and packages differ, but the job is the same: help the right guests find you, see the trip, and book it.

What if our current site is actually fine?

Then we’ll say so. A straight answer costs you fifteen minutes, and you’ll know where you stand.
